Floppy Elephant

This is a toy that was originally devised as a gift for a friend’s baby. All parts are crocheted in so there is no chance of tearing off limbs. It was a great success as a teething toy.
User be warned: this is an untested pattern with unconventional assembly created by a left handed crocheter.
I do welcome any changes suggested, but I do not foresee having time to work out problems with the pattern any time soon.
Slight changes in stitch gauge may cause the stitch count for leg placement to change, so use your best judgment and adjust as required.
