Flower romper
The flower romper pattern is not like most patterns and it’s fun to knit.
You knit the body first, which is knitted back and forth in stocking stitch and across the body. The flower stalks are knitted as you go; they are knitted in garter stitch using short rows. The flowers are crocheted and eventually sewn on the romper.
The body starts center back, using ‘Provisional cast on’ to avoid visible seams on the back, but a basic cast on method can be used
The sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch on double pointed needles. Body and sleeves are joined and the upper part of the romper is knitted using raglan increases.
Yarn requirements:
Color 1: 100 (100, 150, 150 // 150, 150) grams
Color 2: Less than 15 grams - you can use leftover yarn (the yarn doesn’t need to be the same as color 1, but the tension must be the same)
Color 3: Less than 15 grams - you can use leftover yarn (the yarn doesn’t need to be the same as color 1 or 2, nor does the tension need to match)
