Flying Lindy
This is the third design in the West Coast Swing Collection. The other designs are Sugar Push (fingerless mitts), Syncopation (shell), and Basket Whip (cowl).
My parents met during the 1950s when swing dancing was all the rage. They lived here on the west coast so always danced the West Coast Swing. This is the first of a series of patterns based on the swing stitch pattern, which naturally reminds me of my parents, and how they met. The Flying Lindy is a fast-moving variation of the West Coast Swing. This is a companion pattern to my Sugar Push mitts pattern.
