This pattern was originally in the book Sock-Yarn Accessories and is now available for free on Jen’s website, craftyjencrafts.com.

Beautiful lace motifs fall all over this shawl and hat set. The stitch pattern from the hat is worked as a center panel on the shawl, and a wool/silk blend yarn is used to keep both items light and airy.

Pattern Notes

  • Skill Level - Intermediate

  • Written instructions accompany chart

  • Notes are included on how to adjust the size of hat, if desired

  • This is a loose fitting hat. If you find that the hat is too loose for your taste, try going down a needle size or two on the ribbing. The ribbing in the sample was loosely knit to provide additional stretch!
