FORME E COLORI è un collo lavorato in piano con la tecnica del Domino Knitting. Il Domino Knitting può essere pensato come un modo di creare un pachwork a maglia: si procede unendo dei quadrati, rettangoli, triangoli, o altre forme geometriche senza ricorrere a cuciture. Si tratta di una tecnica approfondita in varie pubblicazioni e pattern, come per esempio quelli della designer danese Vivian Hoxbro.

FORME E COLORI is a cowl knitted featuring the “domino” technique, the equivalent of patchwork for knitting. Indeed, in domino knitting, geometrical shapes are knitted together while the work progresses, without sewing. Nowadays this technique is featured in several patterns and publications but was made famous by the work of the Danish designer Vivian Hoxbro.

Urth stsookrom DK, 100 g / 275 sts skeins. At least 50 g per colour. Shown in two colours: Colour A 6056 (blue) – Colour B 6067 (cream)
NEEDLES
3.50 stsm (US 4) needles, straight or circular with at 60+ cm cable. Adjust needle size to stseet gauge.

Worked in garter stitch, flat
