(Four-in-one)

This reversible cowl can be worn with any of its sides facing out. And also, if you pull the cord and tie the upper edge, you can wear it as a hat. So it’s actually four accessories in one.
It was also designed to show off your favorite variegated yarn on one side (worked in straight stockinette stitch). The other side is worked in a solid colored yarn, to show off your knitting abilities. :-)

Size:
Finished size: 20 ¾ inches (52 cm) around; 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) long

Yarn:
You can use any aran weight yarn for this cowl. You will need about 130 yd of each color. For the mock cable section, is better to use a slightly lighter yarn.

Needles:
5.5mm (US9), 24 inch long circular needle.
Crochet hook for provisional cast-on.
Waste yarn for provisional cast on.
Additional needle to work a 3-needle-bind-off.
