Welcome Freddie the fox on this cute autumn beanie!
He is accompanied by mushrooms and the forest.
The top is especially lovely showing some big trees.

Please note: there are some rows with three colors (fox) so it’s not real fair isle completely, there are quite some color changes and it’s a bit more difficult to knit.
So it’s a beanie for advanced fair isle knitters.
But as most rows have at most two colors in one round it also can be tackled by stranded knitting beginners.

You can use any 4 - to 5-ply yarn (sock yarn, Merino or Acrylic).

Hier ist Freddie, der Fuchs!
Er streift durch den Wald, an Fliegenpilzen vorbei.
Die Mütze hat einen zweifarbigen Bund.
Den Mützenabschluß bilden große Bäume.

Die Mütze ist nicht komplett Fair Isle. Es gibt ein paar Runden beim Fuchs mit 3 Farben. Ansonsten sind es aber maximal 2 Farben pro Runde. Deshalb und aufgrund der vielen Farbwechsel ist es eher ein Projekt für fortgeschrittene Mehrfarbenstricker. Da aber meistens maximal 2 Farben pro Runde verwendet werden, können sich auch Anfänger daran versuchen.

Ihr könnt jedes 4- bis 5-fach Garn dafür verwenden (Merino, Acryl- oder Sockenwolle).
Uta hat mir ihren Teststrick geschickt. Danke! Ohne Dich hätt ich das Muster nicht geschafft und die tollen Bilder hätt ich auch nicht machen können! Weil mein Arm immer noch nicht richtig mitspielt.
