The worsted weight yarn is used doubled to create a thick cushy fabric and it only uses a small portion of the second skein, so you will have enough leftover for a scarf or a pair of matching gloves.

This pattern is for the hat only. It is meant to be a blank slate for your creativity. Add a large crocheted mum , a pretty silk rose, or a garden of smaller crocheted or knitted flowers.
