This is a triangular shaped shawl with fringe. The fringe uses a broomstick-like technique in that a flat piece of cardboard is used instead of a dowel.

The White shawl is a 2 ply orlon (about 17 ounces) -- final size about 72”x34”, not including fringe.

The black shawl is a 3-ply acrylic (about 20 ounces) -- final size about 74”x36”.

Both shawls use the same number of motifs; the thicker yarn is why the motifs are slightly larger.
