From Little Things, Big Things Grow Acorn Pattern
3/4/12 I have decided to put this pattern for sale now for £1 as I would like to reach the £50 goal. 100% of proceeds will go to the Pet Blood Bank.
I decided to make this a knitting pattern for charity. In exchange for the pattern, which is free, I ask that you donate something to the Pet Blood Bank. Go on, I know you knitters are big animal people!!! No donation too small, even if it’s just 20p, from little things, big thigs grow! The pattern is free to download, so please donate something. please donate through my Just Giving page here http://www.justgiving.com/Zoe-Armstrong
The acorns are really cute decorations, and they are stuffed with spices, so perfect for Christmas, or a last minute knitted gifts! Also great for using up left over yarn. Gauge is not important for this pattern, you just need 2 yarns that will work together. You can also stuff with dried lavender or drop some essential oils on them, or leave them smell free!
You will need some scrap fabric to make the spice pouches, and your spices or lavender. You will also need some coloured roving if you plan on making the acorn with the eyelet design.
