I designed this shawl with variegated laceweight yarns in mind. I loved the texture of laceweight alpaca in this stitch pattern as well.

I think this would work well with Knit Picks Shimmer, Misti
Alpaca Handpaint Lace, and the Alpaca Yarn Company Suri Elegance.

After blocking, the completed shawlette is 44 inches across the top and 20 inches from the center of the top down to the point (including the ruffle).

The pattern is written out and not charted as it is very simple.

This is my first pattern and I did have it test knit, but if there are still glitches please let me know and I’ll fix them ASAP.
