The Gallia Shawl is constructed from tip to tip with a garter stitch body and an edging that features crisscrossed stitches. While most of the shawl is nothing more than simple knitting, the crisscross edging has enough going on to keep your interest. The crossed stitches also help to break up any pooling in the variegated yarn. While there is a slight difference to the right and wrong sides, you have to look close to see them, making the shawl completely reversible.
