Finished cowl is 8.5 inches wide and about 28 inches around. It is worked flat in Garter Stitch and seamed. A tab is worked separately and sewn to cinch the cowl into a bow shape.

This is a great beginner project and perfect for gift knitting. It can be worn on the shoulders as shown or around the neck.
