“Cheerful and Bright”

’Right’ side or ‘wrong’, we love the cheery stripes and itty-bitty pom-poms on our beginner-level garter stripes scarf. In Mrs Moon Plump DK, a super soft single-ply with off the charts squish, this project is simple to knit and such fun to wear. Garter stitch knit lengthwise keeps the colorful stripes loooong. Generous size allows extra wraps for round and round your neck - toasty warm!

FINISHED SIZE

YARN
8 skeins Mrs Moon Plump DK (125 yds/115m each): 4 skeins in Color A (main color) and 1 skein each of contrast colors B, C, D, and E (our shop sample used A = Pavlova, B = Rhubarb Crumble, C = Marmalade, D = Bonbon, E = Pistachio Ice Cream).

Or approx. 800 yds/732m of an equivalent DK-weight yarn (our shop sample used approx. 560 yds/512m of Color A and 60 yds/55m each of the 4 contrast colors).

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 8 (5mm) 24-32”/60-80cm circular needles.
Darning needle to finish.
