Gathering
’Gathering’ is a hat with a beautiful little structure stitch pattern of mock cables, winding their way up the hat. The hat can be knit both as a ’short’ beanie style hat, or a more ’baggy’ hat.
The directions for the stitch pattern are shown both in chart and as written instructions.
Sizes: S (M) L (XL)
The sizes span large intervals, as the pattern is very stretchy. Thus you should choose your size depending on how snug you want the fit to be. If the head circumference is close to the largest measurement in the interval, the hat wil fit snugly, if close to the smaller measurement the fit will be more loose.
Fits head circumference: 40-55 cm (45-63 cm) 50-70 cm (55-77 cm)
Length: Beanie 22 cm (Baggy 30-33 cm or more)
The length is only a suggestion, as it is easily modified before working the decreases.
