You can make a whole family of gingerbread people with this pattern, both male and female shapes are given.
This pattern creates flat yet chunky gingerbreads, just like the real biscuits.
You can use them as hanging tree decorations, create a string of bunting with them, or just make a fun display by stacking them on a plate.

This pattern can be made with any yarn/hook size. The yarn/hook size you choose will determine the size of your finished Gingerbread person. As a guide, I used Chunky (US Bulky) yarn with a 6mm hook and made a gingerbread approximately 11cm tall and a 4mm hook for 8cm tall.

You will need:
Light Brown, White, and your chosen colours for decoration (Less than 20g needed for each gingerbread)
Yarn needle
Scissors
