The book “The Gnomes of Grimblewoods: Enchanting friends to knit, full of magic and mischief” publishes on Sept 15. Preorders now open.

The body is knit with LT and RT stitches - no cabling needed for this striking look!

Fingering/DK
Like all gnomes in this book, Gnarley is shown in both fingering and DK weight yarn. Gauge, needle information, height, and yardage details are provided for both in the book. Check out the “Chart of Everything” in the photos.

(Knitting instructions are identical for the fingering and DK weight versions.)

Gnarley’s Story
Gnarley is an avid mountain biker. Grimblewood has a lot of gnarly paths that get the adrenaline flowing. He likes to recover with a plate of scones and nut butter before washing his bike. ‘Tummy first, gears second,’ is his post-ride motto.
