This lil guy has only been made with thick, bulky yarn--I have not tested this pattern with regular medium yarn. The eyes and body will not have the same proportions. (I used Sensations Angel Hair yarn).
UPDATE! I have made Gorge following the pattern exactly with your standard ol’ yarn (I use Caron Simply Soft mostly) and other interestingly textured yarn (Full o’ Sheep Stitch Nation yarn gets thinner and thicker in certain parts, but beware you could get some gaps) -- works like a charm. No problems! You don’t HAVE to use bulky/fuzzy yarn…not that I thought therewould* be problems…but ya never know!
