Granny Stripe Blanket
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern is my adaptation and the exact method I use to create my Granny Stripe Blankets.
The blanket is very simple, yet effective. It is a perfect pattern for beginners wanting to make their first blanket but, be careful because it is addictive.
The pattern is easily adaptable for size and stripe direction. I have also included the directions for my preferred boarder but, you can substitute a different boarder or leave one off all together if you prefer.
I used a 4mm hook for my project because I prefer a firmer drape. I would recommend a 5mm or as large as a 6mm hook if you prefer a looser fabric.
I hope you enjoy the pattern and making it as much as I do. Please post your projects so I can see what you come up with.
