Materials:
For coaster: Size 10 crochet cotton thread and a size 8 hook
For dishcloth: Worsted weight cotton yarn and size F hook

Sizes:
Coaster: About 4” across
Dishcloth: About 10 1/2” across

Alternate Version:
You can make “solid” hearts by eliminating the ch 1’s in rounds 2-8, and working dc’s without skipping any stitches.
