Gull Wing
I designed these socks to make the most out of variegated yarn by using a combination of slipped stitches that stretch across multiple rows and bands of purl stitches highlight the color changes without being too distracting. The resulting pattern looks like ripples of water flowing across a rough-surfaced rock or the wings of a gull soaring across the sky.
