Originally designed by Grace and Courtney over many beers as a personal challenge, and published for Rosie’s Yarn Cellar in Philadelphia in the early aughts, before the days of Ravelry.
Materials: 560 yds for Grace’s version or 840 yds for Courtney’s version of any lace weight yarn; US size 10.5 (6.5mm) for Grace’s version or US size 5 (3.75mm) for Courtney’s version (or sizes to obtain gauge); 2 ring markers.
Gauge: 4 sts per 1” for Grace’s version or 5 sts per 1” for Courtney’s version over stockinette
stitch.
Finished Size: 27” deep by 80” wide for Grace’s version or 32” deep by 80” wide for Courtney’s version.
