This is a semicircular shawl that utilizes yarnovers along the edge on every row to create a longer wingspan. It is worked with a solid yarn for the master color (MC) and a long strand variegated yarn for the contrasting color (CC) but would also look great using two solid colored yarns.
Finished Measurements: 74 inches x 20 inches
Yarn Requirements:
MC: approx 455 yards of worsted-weight yarn
CC: approx 245 yards of long strand variegated worsted-weight yarn
Suggested Yarn:
MC: Cascade 220, color 4010, 2 skeins
CC: Noro Kureyon, color 170, 3 skeins
Notions:
yarn needle, stitch markers (4), blocking pins
