Happy Dance Hat
by Lynn Nilges
The perfect hat to brighten grey, late winter - early spring days.
This fun hat features straight ahead ribbing for a cozy fold up brim,
a jazzy Jig Stitch band that will have your fingers dancing, and a simple stranded color work body, grafted together at the top with Kitchener Stitch. The hat is then folded, bringing the corners together with decorative buttons. Alternatively a pom-pom or even tassels would be a fun addition.
The sample knit in Nature Spun Sport used 60 grams total. Only a small amount of the bright contrast colors is needed so bits of leftover sport weight yarn can be used.
Written instructions detail the Jig Stitch and a chart is included for the color work motif.
