These mittens are happy friends with Happy Fox the sockpattern

Happy Fox is both a sockpattern a mittenpattern and an ode to the red fox. The red fox is found in the wild in Sweden and here we have a proverb that goes “Slug som en räv”, which if translated to English means “Sly as a fox”. And even if they might be known for snatching a chicken from their coop every now and then and even if just that made me fear foxes more than any other animal as a child I now consider foxes both an intriguing and a beautiful animal.
