Hawl for kids
All credits to the person who deserves them: my firstborn was the one coming up with the idea for this pattern. He asked me for “a hat that can also be worn as a cowl”. We sat down, he explained what that really meant and I dove in my stash and knitted what he was looking for. This is how we invented the “hawl”.
This pattern includes size instructions from newborn till teenager so every child will be able to enjoy the warmth of this hawl.
A pattern with adult sizes is in the making.
Row gauge is not mentioned since it’s not important for this pattern.
Extra materials needed are a stitch marker and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
You’ll need between 50 g (newborn) and 150 g (teenager) of the MC. As for the CC, you need only between 6 and 15 g so this is just perfect for using up that little leftover.
