Hawthorne
Hawthorne is inspired by the beauty of autumn woods where brilliantly colored leaves and berries compete for attention of every passerby.
This versatile shawlette is really a cross between a scarf and a shawl and as such, it can be worn in many different ways (CHART ONLY).
It is knitted in one piece starting with the cast on at the bottom edge followed by easy short rows (no wraps), which give the shawl a unique and elegant form of a narrow crescent.

The Mini Hawthorne directions are available on my project page (approx 300 yards of worsted yarn): http://www.ravelry.com/projects/zuzusus/hawthorne-2
Please note - Spirit Trail Fiberworks ’Lyra’ put-up has changed to 520 yards per skein (from 400), so only one skein is now needed to complete Hawthorne.
