Heather cardi/pullover
Heather is a classic round yoke cardigan - but it also can be used as a pullover when you turn it over, it’s a versatile piece of clothing for spring and summer.
The back and front pieces (bodice) is worked in one piece, which is then joined with the 2 sleeves at armhole, and continue upward in one piece as round yoke - no shoulder seams, and you’ll end up with a perfect lacy yoke.
The lace patterns are a combination of simple eyelet stitches, which begins with a scalloped bottom edge and are worked in ‘stripes’ upward. Together they create a delicate lace texture, which look more complex than it really is to work with.
I have put the different pattern stitches in easy-to-follow charts. The written pattern is for woman’s size S to XXXL, which will fit most of the body shapes. :)
