Introduction
Ever since the Phoenix New Beginnings, I have been obsessed with yellow. And as the sun started to shine more than usual in May around here, I felt the sudden urge to make a yellow shawl. My mind was fixed on a certain yellow color before I even went to the store. I don’t know exactly why, maybe after too many cold and dark winter months, I needed a visual injection of vitamin C……and so here it is; the Heavenly Lemon :-)
Construction
Elegant stylish shawl to fit any occasion you like. The shawl is worked flat, in rows, top down - starting at the middle of the neck. The main pattern is very basic and simple to make, changing between basic rows of dc’s and rows of wrap stitches to keep it interesting. The edging really makes the shawl stand out and there are photo-instructions as well as video instuctions for this part.
