I designed these wrist warmers for my friend Steph, who loves hedgehogs!

They are knitted using a combination of intarsia and stranding, and also use Swiss darning and embroidery to create the facial features. There is an optional crochet border to strengthen the edges.

The pattern comes in two size options. The measurements of the finished wrist warmers are:
S-M: 9cm wide x 17cm high
M-L: 9.5cm wide x 17cm high

I used a selection of colours from Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift (4ply) range. I used one 25g ball of the main colour, ‘Scotch Broom’ (1160), and a small amount of ‘Wren’ (246), ‘Natural White’ (104), ‘Shetland Black’ (101) and ‘Eesit’ (105).
