Hedgerow Cowl
Please be advised: this pattern will be undergoing editing and testing in January of 2019 to keep it up to standard with my other designs. At that time the old file will no longer be available. There are a few minor design changes in store, but the majority of the cowl will be the same. If you are currently working on this project you may wish to save the old file for your records before it gets replaced with the new one.
The Hedgerow Cowl captures the beautiful texture of brambles and burrs without the clinging spikiness of the actual thing. Perfect for late autumn treks that carry you through forests, shops, or your back porch.
It is worked in the round on US 15-10mm circular needles (24inch).
The chunky yarn and simple pattern make it a great gift that can be worked up in less then a day!
The pattern uses lateral braids. Tutorials, written and filmed, can be found throughout the internet if the stitch is unfamiliar to you. However, they are optional and can just be left out of the pattern altogether.
