Notes:

•All repeats will be contained within asterisks * . Repeat sequence of stitches within the specified number of times.

•Since this hat is worked in sc, a stitch marker will be helpful in keeping up with the starting st.

•Loop sts are formed on the wrong side of the work (away from you). But given that the hat has the loops on the outside, when you are “turning” the work you will bring the loops to you and work in the reverse direction before starting the solid part of the hat.

Gauge is not crucial to this pattern.

Any worsted or aran yarn can be used to achieve the desired look.
