The danish knitwear designer Åse Lund Jensen was inspired by hen-knitting. A popular form of two stranded knitting in Denmark in the 1970ties. Originally she designed this colour pattern for a pair of leggins, but when Marianne Isager made the book about Åse Lund Jensen, she made revamped her designs and made this sweater.

Åse Lund Jensen lod sig også inspirere af hønsestrik. Borterne blev tegnet til et par strikkede gamascher. Marianne Isager har brugt borterne i en sweater og valgt farverne:

The tension is measured in patt with Highland as

It is up to you to decide which colours to knit together.
Use Alpaca 2 as the dominant throughout.
