Hetty is a babydoll top for a girl of about 6, or knit it longer and make a dress.

This is basically a shorter Anahera without the frills, knitted top down, and only in one size.

I used this pattern to test the sizing for Anahera, but I like it just as it is. Feel free to embellish - add lace, patch pockets, maybe a picot bind off….

And because everyone likes to knit top down little dresses I’m making this pattern available for free.

Errata 25 June 2010:

Rnds 4 and 6 should read “k to 1 stitch before marker, kf&b, sm, k1, kf&b…” (not k to marker)

The stitch count for front and back after raglan increases should be 51, (not 53) giving a total of 190 sts.
