Hooded scarf
This pattern is
available for free.
From the book: An alternative to the hat and scarf combo, this scarf actually looks like there is a really cool hooded sweater hiding under your coat. And it’s warmer than a scarf and hat because there is no gap at the back of your neck. Super-warm and super-fashionable? Oh yes!
The hood is decorated with a simple cable pattern. The scarf ends are each knit as three strips and then braided.
KNITTED MEASUREMENTS
• Height 9½“ (24cm)
• Width (around) 19” (48.5cm)
• Length of scarves (before braiding) 24” (61cm)
GAUGE
• 14 stitches and 20 rows = 4” (10cm) in simple cable.
• 12 stitches and 16 rows = 4” (10cm) in seed stitch.
