The cosy is knit in the round for the bottom disc, then back and forth for the main part of the body. You may find you need to use double pointed needles or a circular needle for the first few back-and-forth rows. Although I used dpns for the bottom, you may use whatever method you prefer to knit in the round.

The button eyes are optional, but add a lot to the finished piece.
