Hugs & Kisses Preemie Hat
I designed this pattern after finding out that my sister’s twins were born early at week 27. I wanted to do something special for them and the other preemies at the hospital.
My nephew and niece are both developing well and hopefully will come home soon.
Please feel free to use this pattern to donate to your local NICU, for your personal use or as a gift. Make sure to check with the hospital regarding yarn and other requirements. Choose machine washable yarns since the hospital need to wash them and want to keep them germ free.
Share your pictures with me on Ravelry and/or on Facebook. My Facebook page is called Knitting for Sanity.
At the end of this pattern you will find directions how to dye the hats with KoolAid. Enjoy and share the love.

I highly recommend to use this as a practice to do cable knitting without a cable needle. It is so much easier and faster. Follow this link for video tutorial how to do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6DB6WhAKvY
