Hulk Goes To Market Bag
A super stretchy market bag for all my shopping needs. I like a single strap when I want to carry my shopping on my shoulder, and two handles for when I’m carrying more delicate things. I’ve made the shoulder strap reasonably short because I don’t like my bag banging off my leg once it’s loaded, and it will stretch quite a bit with weight.
Gauge is unimportant.
Uses around 250 yards of worsted weight cotton, I recommend buying the larger sized skeins or even cones.
Bottom-up, one piece construction with a total of 24 stitches grafted with kitchener stitch and no other seaming.
Skills needed: knitting in the round, increases, i-cord, kitchener stitch.
Stitches used: knit, purl, k2Tog, YO.
