Released on Friday, 16-June-2017, as part of the 4th Annual Indie Burgh Craft Crawl in Edinburgh, Scotland

The annual Indie Burgh Craft Crawl is upon us! This year the Edinburgh, Scotland-based crawl has expanded to include not only 3 indie yarn shops, but also 5 other crafty destinations plus a pop-up market. For the 4th year in a row, I was asked to design a pair of socks to celebrate the occasion.
The Design - These toe-up or cuff-down socks have a floral-y berry motif to represent the beautiful plants found in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
Grab your yarn and your needles and let’s go craft crawling! Happy Knitting!

These socks are knit using the magic loop method (although the purchaser could easily adapt it for two circulars or double points).
This pattern includes toe-up and cuff-down instructions.
The knitter needs to be comfortable with the following techniques: knit, purl, knit three together (k3tog), knit through the back loop (ktbl), M1L, M1R, slipped stitches, slip slip knit (SSK), and wrap and turns (W+T). Instructions for all these techniques are included in the pattern. In addition, a video tutorial for the shadow wrap technique of W+T for short rows has been recorded by the designer.
This pattern includes instructions in both written and chart forms for 56 stitch, 64 stitch, and 72 stitch socks.
Huge thanks to my amazing test knitters: Andrea (angeiship), Ann (roocmc), Carolyn (craftypw), Elizabeth (Elizabethsuthy), Jayne (Jcstormy), Jennifer (initsox2), Julia (4jewels4), Lisa (Mythreesuits), Steph (Stephjackson2), & Tracy (tmangil)! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
