My daughter loves, no she LOOOOOVES, Invader Zim, as I’m sure you can tell by her complete outfit in the photo. So I surprised her at Christmas with this hat. I hope you enjoy knitting it and wearing it as much and we did!

This hat will fit an average child to adult, 20” or 22” (51 or 56 cm) but you can easily modify the gauge for different yarns & sizes by adding or subtracting 8 sts from the cast on, and modifying the dec rnd on the hat top, for example:

(Smaller) CO 76 sts: First dec rnd will be
K8, DD, *K16… and so on.

(Larger) CO 100 sts: First dec rnd will be
K11, DD, *K22… and so on.
