My friend Kev was asking me for ages if I could knit him something, he finally decided he wanted me to knit him a cover for his ipod touch, but he was very fussy about the design… it HAD to have a hole at the front so that he didn’t have to take his ipod out of the sock to use it and he also wanted it to have flap that goes over the hole to protect the screen on the ipod.

I searched high and low on the internet for a free ipod touch (or iphone as they are the same sort of size) pattern, but the only one I could find was a crochet pattern, I have a very limited knowledge of crocheting, I can just about do a basic straight crochet stitch and that is it! So I decided I would have a go at creating my own pattern, trying to write down each step as I went so that it could be adjusted if need be!
