Since I’m constantly playing with string in one form or another, I get alot of cat and spider jokes. Once I had just a little bit of some lucious buffalo/merino handspun (less than 100 yds) and I really wanted to have it where I could pet it. So I knit a little spider to attach to my knitting bag. He was so popular with my guy’s little girl (10) that I eventually broke down and knit her one, but wrote the pattern down this time. A great pattern to try out knitting amigurumi or dolls, not too long, easy increase and decrease shaping, no sewing to sculpt anything - just attach the legs and eyes. Also it will really work with any yarn, just go down a couple of sizes from the recommended gauge to give you firm enough fabric that the stuffing doesn’t show, although the size will vary accordingly.
