This shawl is a crescent shape shawl, with a lot of garter stitch so as to make it comfortable and smooth.
It’s 2 meters to 2.40m wide and is very envelopping.
It’s a one size shawl, but it can easily be modified to make it bigger (or smaller !)
The gauge is not important though I would recommend a fingering yarn with much wool in, so as to give a better shaping and character to it.
I used 2 balls of yarn (Dulcimer or Exmoor sock) and just knitted them to the end.
It is an easy pattern, with easy lace (basic lace knowledge is necessary : yo, ssk, k2tog, and dropped stitches)
I designed this shawl on a lovely rainy day. The lace suggesting flowers and clouds.
enjoy !
