Julenisse of Knidness
Tiny packages wrapped up in string, left on porches to surprise those inside. Mittens for those that are cold, toys for kids that are sick, meals for the hungry and songs sung for the lonely. This kindly little nisse is all about inspiring those around her to give to those in need.
This project was inspired but a blog I read on Kindness elves. So I decided to make our own version. In upholding our families tradition of celebrating the Nisse and Tomte I wanted to capture that spirit in a little visitor. Someone who can hang out every year with our Julebukk.
Doll: Supplies: Worsted weight yarn, size 8 dpns and size H crochet hook. Wooden beads for head, feet and hands.
Clothes: Gauge and Supplies: Size one needles and a small weight yarn, dk, sport or sock all work nice.
