You could even line the hat with some polar fabric for more warmth.

The earflaps and front flap are knitted flat, then everything is smoothly and effortlessly join together so you can continue knitting in the round.
Knitted in the round with worsted weight, this hat comes in five sizes: Preemie (Newborn, Baby, Toddler, Child/Small Adult) for a finished circumference of about 12” (14”, 16”, 18”, 20”) inches = 30.5 (35.5, 40.5, 45.5, 51) cm.

Additional instructions are also given if you want to add straps (with or without button) or I-cords.

Materials :
About 70 (90, 120, 140, 170) yards of Worsted yarn
Double pointed and circular needles (US #6/4 mm)
2 1” buttons
stitch marker
stitch holders or scrap yarn

Skills : Knitting in the round, K2tog, small cable work, knit through back loop of stitch
