As a child, designer Tammy Hildebrand was fascinated looking into her toy kaleidoscope, watching the ever-changing designs appear. That memory was the inspiration behind this afghan. While designing each motif, she imagined lying in the grass on a summer day, twisting the end of the kaleidoscope to come up with a beautiful new design.
