Katriel
Knit from the top down in a versatile, wide triangle silhouette, Katriel’s garter stitch stripes are neatly defined by an eyelet border and a simple picot edge. This easy shawlette looks lovely knit in solids as well as stripes, and is a perfect showcase for gorgeous yarn.
Notes on Yarn and Gauge: Katriel uses approximately 80 grams of each yarn color. Tosh Merino Light relaxes and loosens somewhat with wet-blocking, so be sure to block a swatch for desired gauge, as this will make a difference in finished size and yardage required; blocking method used may also affect finished size
Finished Measurements: approximately 58” wide along the blocked top edge, and approximately 20” deep from center back neck to bottom point, depending on blocking method used
Note on Stripes: Since Katriel is worked in 2-row stripes, there’s no need to cut yarn at every color change; simply carry color not in use loosely up the side edge until the next row, then pick it up and continue, dropping previous yarn color
