This pattern makes a cute little amigurumi cupcake. I made it with a half strand of worsted weight yarn (2 of the 4ply strands) but you could use crochet cotton as well. If you use the entire stand of worsted weight yarn, use a 3.5mm hook. The piece will come out bigger (pin cushion size) and not be functional as a keychain, but will be great for other things. Safety eyes are optional and could be replaced with embroidery or tiny buttons.
