This hat was designed for Kayleigh, the daughter of a friend. Kayleigh was born 14 weeks early weighing only 1 pound. Today, Kayleigh is a happy baby! Proceeds from the sale of this hat will be donated to March of Dimes in honor of Kayleigh and her family. 9/20/10- Mommy’s report- Kayleigh is off the vent and has the cpap (keeps Kayleigh’s lungs inflated), but she is breathing on her own. She is 1 pound 6 ounces. She is recovering from being sick over the weekend but doing well
9/18/10- Mommy changed Kayleigh’s diaper for the first time. She was very excited about this.
9/16/10- Mommy posted a picture of Kayleigh without the breathing vent today! Her eyes were even open :o)
9/13/10- Kayleigh is transferred to a local children’s hospital. Mommy reports she may need surgery over the coming weekend.
9/10/10- Kayleigh is off the vent
9/4/10- Kayleigh has a rough weekend
9/1/10- Kayleigh weighs 1 lb 4 oz.
8/26/10- Kayleigh was born! She was 26 weeks 3 days in the womb.
