Few months ago my friend shared a flower project made by Tunisian Crochet using regular hook. I was kind of surprise because I thought Tunisian Crochet should used special kind of hook.

After trying that pattern, I started to think to make my own project, so I search what kind flower I would like to make. I want a simple but unique. First name came in my mind was Kembang Sepatu flower (Hibiscus); it is fit to my criteria. It simple because it is only has 5 petals and the unique about this flower because it has long pistil (style).

In this pattern I use some step by step pictures, some diagram and written pattern.

Hope anyone can curious as well as the first time I tried a flower pattern by Tunisian Crochet using regular hook.

Additional Material:

• Any kind of Crochet Cotton yarn size 5; 1 nice color for flower (you can use your favorite color), 2 Green for leaf,
• Smaller size of yarn (yarn for lace) - yellow
• nylon string
• Brooch pin
• Regular sewing thread and needle
